Local 4 Series: Becky Boyd and the Groove Train

Becky Boyd has been playing the Cleveland club scene for over 40 years. Becky has opened for such noted artists as The Outlaws, Brownsville Station, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Fairport Convention, Buddy Miles, Robert Lockwood Jr., Billy Branch, Chad & Jeremy, Marshall Tucker, and did a small tour opening for Todd Rundgren. Her band The Groove Train plays a mixture of styles from Jazz and Latin to funk, blues, and soul. Her band features some of the best players in the region, featuring Jim Wall on drums, Ben Nieves on guitar, and Alfredo Guerrieri on bass.
