1. Where can I park?

There is no dedicated parking lot at Cain Park, which was built in 1938 in the middle of a residential neighborhood.  Back then, cars were not considered the major means of transportation so no parking lot was ever in the plans. We value our available green space as parkland. There are over 900 FREE onstreet parking spaces within easy walking distance of Cain Park. Please observe all parking signs to avoid ticketing.  And for certain concerts, we do have aFREE PARKING SHUTTLE SERVICE. FYI...the Evans Amphitheater is closest to the Goodnor/Superior entrance and the Alma Theater is closest to the Lee Road entrance. Also, the Cumberland Pool parking lot (closest to the Lee Road entrance) is located within easy walking distance of Cain Park.  Please be advised there are no guards on duty at this parking lot.

2. How do I volunteer at Cain Park?

We encourage individuals, social groups, corporations, church/synagogue groups and students to volunteer as ushers at Cain Park. For more information on becoming a volunteer, call 216.291.5796

3. How do I rent Cain Park for a wedding, reunion or other family event?

Cain Park's performance and visual art spaces are not available to be rented for any event or occasion.

4. How do I get a job at Cain Park?

Applications are accepted at Cleveland Heights City Hall for open positions at Cain Park beginning in January. Please check Employment on the website for available jobs. For bands interested in being considered to perform at Cain Park, please contact Cain Park General Manager Erin Miller. Booking is usually completed by early March.

5. What can I bring in to a concert at Cain Park?

• No outside food is allowed to be brought into the theater this season. Guests can picnic on the grassy areas in the park prior to the performance; however, alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Those picnicking are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and returning any picnic baskets, coolers, etc. to their vehicle before entering the theater.
• One sealed water bottle or one travel beverage container per person allowed in the theater. No alcoholic beverages can be brought in with you.
• Food and alcoholic beverages are available for sale inside the venue and may be consumed inside the theater gates. We strongly encourage all guests to clean up their own refuse.
• Picnic Box Dinners can be pre-ordered up to 48 hours prior to the event by calling the Cain Park Ticket Office. Please remember the Ticket Office is closed on Mondays and opens at 5pm on Tuesdays.

Ohio state law and local ordinance prohibit bringing your own alcoholic beverages to Cain Park. The concession area sells wine, beer, coffee, soft drinks, and snacks. Items not permitted: bringing your own alcoholic beverages, glass items of any kind, pets (excluding service animals), cameras, recording devices of any type, candles (including incense or any type of burning insect repellant). You will be asked to return any unauthorized items to your vehicle or you can check them in at the Main Ticket Office and pick them up at the end of the concert or performance. Cain Park assumes no risk for these items.

If you've got lawn seats for an Evans Amphitheater concert, you can bring lawn chairs, sand chairs or a blanket. Lawn chairs are not permitted on the front part of the lawn seating area.  They are only permitted in the designated location halfway up the sloped lawn seating area.
