You'll get to see areas of the Park usually inaccessible to the public including the scene and costume shops, Evans Amphitheater backstage, dressing room, and the mounting of the set for MEMPHIS THE MUSICAL in the Alma Theater. Tour guides are Kara Hamley O'Donnell, Cleveland Heights Historic Preservation Planner, and Ksenia Roshchakovsky, Cain Park PR/Marketing Manager. The tour takes place 10am-12 noon. Limited availability. Reservations required: call 216-291-4878 after May 1. Co-sponsored by Cleveland Heights Landmark Commission, Cleveland Heights Historical Society and Heights Library.
And if you want to take a look back at how Cain Park actually looked before the 1988 renovations, come to $5 Movies on Wednesday, August 8 at 2pm in the Alma Theater for a viewing of "Those Lips, Those Eyes," which is a reminiscence of David Shaber's summer stock experiences at Cain Park.
